Artist's Comments

Phew, finally finished this squad that I've been working on for the past year or so (most of the time they've been just sitting on my shelf, didn't have time to paint thanks to studies etc...)

I like how they turned out, though the converted pistols (the ones with large barrels) could've been better if I could've found better parts for them.

Anyhow, comments & criticism is welcome :)

Wow, these are stunning! The colours you've chosen work very well together. The only thing I might suggest changing is to make the Seraphim skin a bit more pale so it contrasts a bit with the armour. These are well worth the time it took to finish them!
beautiful job! I especially like that they have wings instead of jump packs :D
Thanks. Though I have to admit that the wings aren't my idea, I saw a few such conversions before I got these and they looked so cool I thought mine should have wings too.
I see what you mean, but I'm bad at painting pale skin. Besides, the other sisters in the army have a more tanned complexion, so I figured I should stick to the theme.

Maybe I'll try pale skin on the next few minis I got... Though hopefully they won't take as long to finish :D
Wow.. Very nice, I do agree with gowsk on the faces. though this is stunning squad.

It is by caffeine alone that I set my mind in motion.

wow, really nice! my compliments ^^
I like a lot the face, which seems very natural, and the blue parts are very well rendered
I'd just add some more highlights for the gold NMM armours (if they're intended to be so) on the light spots to make it more reflecting, the actual effect is nice too, though. :-)
bye!

I don't like these walls...they're evil :paranoid:
Thanks :)

I didn't really go for real NMM, as I'm not very good doing it. I was trying to avoind metallic colors though... I'm not even sure what I was trying to do. Maybe it's a kind of semi-NMM-style or something.
Yeah, as already said, I like the way you painted it. But I'm sure that if you just add a bit more contrast and pure white in light spots you would make a great NMM. next time I want to see your Non Metallic experiments! hehehe
Meanwhile, I'll :+devwatch: , I'd like to see your new works, if it's ok for you

I'll try to use NMM in my next minis then, though it'll probably take a few months for me to finish them... :)
Well, stunned is right. Wooot!
